Your company name “ESPER” , what does it mean?: ESPER means an ExtraSensory Perception pERson.
For the client demands, reflected light accuracy is the most important thing. So we need to make each product according to each reflective standard. It’s like esper controls the lights. Yes, this is exactly who we are, ESPER Co., ltd.
What has ESPER been doing so far?: We are one of the leading manufactures in the world of reflex-reflector molds which is pin assembly molds, nickel electroforming molds for automobiles and roads. Our clients used to be mostly domestic companies. Since 90’s, we have expanded our business overseas. For now, our clients are not only in Japan, but in many countries, such as Asia, Europe, North/South America. Actually, ESPER is not a large company but an exceptional talented group that is skilled, experienced and trained craftworkers in the lead, and young generation learning under them. We meet your demands in the 1/1000mm range.
Could you tell us your company history?: In 1984, We’ve started our business as “a small factory in town“ in Kawasaki city with only a few people in the first place. After a while, we moved to Mishima city in Shizuoka where the location and weather were so nice. And then, we moved to another place in Mishima city as we expanded our business. About 40 years have passed now.
What is your future prospects?: Recently, we have started new businesses not only for automobiles and roads, but also for various other fields. In any case, our spirits of aiming at further development in the future with our core technology “REFLECTOR” will not change.
